Before You Reset: Check How You Signed Up

Not every account has a password to reset. If you originally created your account using Continue with Google, there's no separate iSwap password stored on our side — your Google account IS your login. In that case, skip straight to signing in with the Continue with Google button instead of requesting a reset (see the FAQ below for more on this).

Step-by-Step: Resetting Your Password

Go to the Login page.

Make sure you're on the Login tab (not Register), then look for Forgot password? just below the password field.

Click it and enter the email address your account is registered under.

Submit the form — iSwap sends a password reset link to that email address within a couple of minutes.

Open the email and click Reset Password. The link is time-limited, so use it soon after it arrives rather than saving it for later.

On the reset page, enter a new password. It needs to be at least 8 characters, include one uppercase letter, and one special character (such as !, @, #, or %).

Confirm the new password and submit.

Choosing a Password You Won't Forget Again

A password that's both strong and memorable beats one you'll need to reset every month. A few practical habits:

String together a short, unrelated phrase rather than a single word — it's easier to remember and naturally longer.

Swap in the required uppercase letter and special character somewhere memorable to you, rather than tacking "1!" onto the end.

Avoid reusing a password from another site, especially your email account — if that one is ever compromised, an attacker could reset your iSwap password too.

If the Reset Email Never Arrives

Check spam, junk, and promotions folders — password reset emails occasionally land there on first send.

Confirm you're entering the exact email address your account is registered under. If you're not sure, try the address you'd expect and check for a "no account found" message.

Wait a few minutes and try again once before requesting a second email — requesting several in a row can sometimes delay delivery.
