Every trade on iSwap.pk — posting a listing, sending a swap offer, messaging a seller, saving a phone to your wishlist — starts from one place: your account. Setting one up takes less than a minute, and this guide walks through both ways to do it, plus what to expect right after you sign up.
Before You Start
You'll need one of the following:
- A Gmail address (for one-tap Google sign-in), or
- Any email address you can access (for email/password sign-up)
You don't need a Pakistani ID card, a bank account, or a paid plan to create an account — every new account starts on the free Bronze tier with no cost attached.
Option 1: Sign Up with Google (Fastest)
If you already have a Gmail account, this is the quickest way onto the platform:
- Go to the Login page.
- Click Continue with Google.
- A Google window opens — pick the Google account you want to use, or sign in if you aren't already.
- Review the permissions Google shows you (iSwap only asks for your name, email, and profile photo) and confirm.
- You're in. iSwap creates your account automatically using your Google name and photo, and logs you straight in — no separate password to set, no email to verify.
Option 2: Sign Up with Email and Password
Prefer not to use Google, or don't have a Gmail address? Email sign-up works the same way on both the website and the iSwap mobile app:
- Go to the Login page and click Register.
- Click Register with email or phone, then switch the toggle to Email.
- Enter your full name, your email address, and a password.
- Your password needs to be at least 8 characters long, include one uppercase letter, and one special character (like !, @, or #) — the strength meter on the form will confirm once it qualifies.
- Click Create account.
- You're logged in immediately, and a verification link is sent to your email address in the background.
What Happens After You Register
- Email verification: if you signed up with email, open the message from iSwap.pk and click the verification link. You can still browse and post while unverified, but verifying builds trust with buyers and sellers who see your profile.
- Your starting tier: every new account begins at Bronze, iSwap's entry-level seller tier. You move up automatically as your ads get approved — see Understanding Seller Tiers for how that works.
- Your profile: head to My Account to add a profile photo, set your city, and fill in the rest of your profile whenever you're ready.
Adding a Phone Number or WhatsApp Later
You don't need a phone number to register — but adding one makes it easier for buyers and sellers to reach you. Once you're logged in, go to My Account → Contact & Location to add your mobile number and WhatsApp number, and choose whether each one is visible on the ads you post.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to pay to create an iSwap.pk account?
No. Registering, browsing, and starting out on the Bronze tier is completely free. iSwap only reserves the right to introduce paid tier upgrades in the future — see the Terms & Conditions for details — but there's no cost to sign up today.
Can I use the same account on the iSwap website and the mobile app?
Yes. Your account works identically across the website and the Android/iOS apps — sign in with the same Google account or email and password on either one.
Can I create more than one account?
No — iSwap.pk allows one account per person. Creating duplicate accounts to get around ad limits or bans is against the platform's Terms & Conditions and can lead to all linked accounts being suspended.
I signed up but didn't get a verification email — what do I do?
Check your spam or promotions folder first. If it's still missing after a few minutes, you can request a new verification email from My Account → Security, or contact support for help.
Which sign-up method should I choose?
If you have a Gmail address, Google sign-in is the fastest and skips email verification entirely. Choose email and password if you'd rather keep your iSwap account separate from your Google account.
