Your profile is what buyers and sellers see before they even start a conversation with you — keeping it current makes you look like a real, active trader rather than an abandoned account. Here's where everything lives.
Editing Your Personal Info
- Go to My Account → Personal Info.
- Update your full name, date of birth, or gender as needed.
- To change your profile photo, upload a new one directly — it replaces the previous photo immediately. You can also remove your photo entirely if you'd rather not have one.
- Save your changes.
Updating Your Phone Number and WhatsApp
- Go to My Account → Contact & Location.
- Add or update your phone number and WhatsApp number.
- Choose whether each one is visible on the ads you post using the visibility toggles next to each field.
Buyers only see your phone or WhatsApp number when you've enabled that visibility (or when you choose to reveal it directly inside a chat) — see How Do I Message a Buyer or Seller? for how the reveal option works in conversations.
Managing Your Saved Addresses
The same Contact & Location tab lets you add and manage saved addresses — useful for keeping your city and area details accurate for listings and meetup suggestions.
What You Can't Currently Change
Your account email address is fixed once your account is created and can't be edited from My Account. If you need it updated for a genuine reason, contact support directly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will changing my name affect my existing listings?
Your display name updates across the platform, including on any listings you've already posted, so there's nothing extra to do there.
Do I have to add a phone number to my profile?
No — a phone number isn't required to use iSwap.pk, but adding one makes it easier for buyers and sellers to reach you outside of chat once you choose to share it.
Can other users see my phone number without me revealing it?
No — your number is only visible where you've explicitly enabled it, either through your ad visibility settings or by revealing it directly inside a specific conversation.
Can I change my account's email address?
Not currently from My Account — if you need your email updated, contact support with the details.
Why would I remove my profile photo instead of just replacing it?
