A rejected or removed ad is almost always fixable — moderation on iSwap.pk exists to keep the marketplace trustworthy, not to make selling harder. Here's how to figure out exactly what happened and get your listing back up.
Where to Check What Happened
Go to My Account → My Ads and open the listing in question. If it was rejected, paused, or removed, you'll see a status label and, in most cases, the specific reason next to it.
Common Reasons an Ad Gets Rejected
Unclear or stock photos. Listings need real photos of the actual device you're selling. Stock images, screenshots from other websites, or overly blurry/dark photos are a common rejection reason.
PTA status doesn't match the description. If the listing claims "PTA Approved" but the details suggest otherwise (or vice versa), it gets flagged for review. Always list the device's real, current PTA/DIRBS status — see How to Check If a Phone Is PTA Approved if you're not sure of your own device's status.
Signs of a non-compliant device. Listings for phones with patched or duplicated IMEIs, bypassed iCloud/Google FRP locks, or other DIRBS red flags are removed under iSwap's device compliance policy — see the Terms & Conditions for the full list of what's not permitted.
Incomplete or misleading details. Vague pricing, missing storage/condition info, or descriptions that contradict the photos slow down or block approval.
Duplicate listings. Posting the same phone multiple times (instead of editing the original) can trigger a duplicate-content flag.
Multiple reports from other users. An ad that receives several user reports is temporarily paused for review while iSwap looks into it.
How to Fix and Resubmit
- Open the ad from My Account → My Ads and read the specific rejection reason shown.
- Edit the listing directly — update photos, correct the PTA status, or fill in missing details based on what was flagged.
- Resubmit for review. Fixed listings typically move back through moderation faster than the first submission.
- If the reason isn't clear, or you believe the rejection was a mistake, contact support with your ad's ID and a brief explanation — a real person will take a look.
Avoiding Rejections on Future Listings
- Take fresh photos of the exact device, in good lighting, from at least 3–4 angles.
- Double-check the PTA/DIRBS status by dialing *#06# for the IMEI and checking it against the device's actual approval status before you list it.
- Fill in every field the posting form asks for, even the optional ones — completeness reads as trustworthy to both moderators and buyers.
This is usually the result of a user report being reviewed and upheld, or the device being newly flagged on the PTA DIRBS database after it was already listed. Check My Account → My Ads for the specific reason.
